Library

The library of St. Joseph’s College of Business Administration is 37 years old. In 1968 SJCBA started its One Year Evening Management Courses, since then the library has been continuously acquiring Management Literature in the form of Books, Periodicals, Annual Reports, News Papers (Print Material) apart from this Library also has good collection of CD-ROMs, Audio and Visual Material (Non-print Material). The Library has now transformed itself from traditional to Digital Library, Library also subscribes to National & International Periodicals (Harvard Business Review, Fortune, Forbes, HR Magazine, Journal of Finance and Journal of Marketing etc) and also Online Databases like EBSCO, ProQuest, PROWESS and IAS (Industry Analysis Service).

Access & Usage of the Collection

The Library is fully automated since 1997. The In-house software which is used as a good search facility option which can be used for Searching Books, Project Reports, Periodicals etc. Status of the books can be easily known.
The Library also has Institutional Membership cards of the British Council and IIM -B Libraries, Faculties and Students can access these libraries making use of the membership cards.

Collection

SJCBA library has approximately 16,100 Books, 90 National & International Periodicals, Archival Issues of Periodicals (Bound Volumes), Newspapers, Project Reports, Newsletters Recruiter Guides apart from this Electronic Material is also available in the form of CD-ROMs - Microsoft Encarta Educational Encyclopedia, Cambridge Dictionary, Indian Economy, Guerrilla Marketing, Creativity - interactive games, Puzzles, exercises, Case studies, Audio cassettes and Video CDs like speeches and life story and others.
